The UK visitor visa, officially known as the Standard Visitor Visa, is a short-stay visa that allows individuals to visit the United Kingdom for a limited duration. Typically, the visa grants a stay of up to 6 months, although the embassy may issue visas for shorter periods as well. This visa category is designed for various purposes, including:

Tourism: Visitors who wish to explore the UK as tourists and enjoy its attractions and culture.

Visiting Family: Individuals who want to visit family members residing in the UK.
